The classes all share and incorporate the wisdom of Yoga to connect every action, on and off the mat, with the intention to live a meaningful life, to move toward what is sacred and most important to us.
Classes at the Yurt Studio (SW Portland OR)
Rise and Shine at the Yurt: A flow of movement and breath to help us develop balance, flexibility and strength
Monday 10:00 AM Pacific Duration: 75 minutes
Tea, sympathy and Yoga: A gentle and thoughtful class where we slow down to explore yoga poses with care and curiosity. We will break down poses to understand their technique and biomechanics, helping you move safely and mindfully. This welcoming space is perfect for all levels, offering a blend of movement, learning, and community connection.
Following the practice, one is encouraged to stay and share one own’s journey over tea.
Friday  10:00 AM   Duration: 75 minutes
Easy Does It, at The Yurt:  A gentle and slow practice to help heal the effects of chronic stress in the body. Floor stretching followed by restorative poses done with different props.
Tuesday 7:00 PMÂ Â Â Duration: 75 minutes
Five Rhythms: A free movement inspired by the Five Rhythm Movements and Yoga to free body and mind and connect to our soul.
Sunday 5:00 pm  Duration: 75 minutes, including stretches and meditation.
Chair Yoga: Experience the gentle power of movement in a Chair Yoga class, designed with care and attention for every body.
Wednesday 2:00 PM Duration: 60 minutes
