Buckwheat Porridge for the Fall Season

Dear friends💜
We are officially in the fall season, which started on September 22nd with the Fall Equinox. A time of balance between light and dark, a time to connect to Earth Consciousness as we witness the shift of energies in nature. As part of nature we are to embrace the changes around us and see how these changes are reflected within.
In my own practice, I tend to move slower…to pause..to arrive and stay for a while…
I also find a need to change my diet. I like to replace the cold breakfasts with warm ones.
My favorite is buckwheat porridge.
Here is my recipe for 2 servings:
1/2 cup of green buckwheat.
1 – 2 cups of water in a pot with 1 tsp cinnamon.
bring to a boil and add the buckwheat. Cook till tender but do not over cook.
In the meantime I prepare 2 balls with 1 tsp of almond butter, 1 tsp of ground flax seeds, 1 tsp of hemp seeds, 1 tsp of chia seeds, 1/4 tsp of turmeric in each ball.
Then add the cooked buckwheat, add fruits if you like and maple syrup to taste.
A satisfying dish for strengthening the body and preparing for the cooler season.
