Symbols and Language

We are now at a time in history where there seems to be an opportunity for change.

Many are choosing to voice their beliefs, but in what way.

A fist represents separation, nonacceptance, non tolerance and no self-restraint. It is all about me my mine.

The symbol of Anjali mudra, known as Namaste represents union, acceptance, patience tolerance, self-restraint, surrender of self.

The fist comes from the mind, the egoic mind. It represent a fight, a struggle, a dis-ease. It is an identification with one group and caring for that which you identify with. Disregarding the others.

Anjali mudra is all about the heart, it is about love and kindness. It is a symbol of peace of deep care for the well fare of all beings.

With a fist we think in a dichotomy way. Good and bad, light and darkness, me and you.

With Anjali mudra we acknowledge that we all share the same light. We all share a spark of the divinity.  We all have the capacity for goodness, for Grace. We are one, cultivating oneness, wholeness.

A fist  is the beginning of a deeper split.

Anjali mudra  is the end of duality.

A fist is Maya. It is ignorance delusion and hate.

Anjali mudra is Truth. It is Dharma. It is unconditional Love.

Choosing the right words is equally important. Instead of anti war can we be pro peace.

Instead of anti racism can we be pro equality, pro justice pro equal opportunities.

Can we just be pro LOVE

May all beings be happy and free! Om shanti shanti shanti

My husband described my relationship to others – do unto others as you would have them do to you.

I do this because I can’t do anything else but I get depressed when others don’t do the same. I realize that others don’t have that same thinking and I get hurt. I can’t make others think the way I think. When I’m able to live this realization things are better. Or will be better for me.
