Commitment

Dear friends🙏💜

Many of us begin our yoga journey with big intentions: practicing every day, mastering difficult poses, searching for quick transformation. But when we aim too high, we often fall into the all or nothing pattern, going strong for a week, then giving up when life gets busy.

Patanjali gives us wise guidance in Sutra 1.14. He reminds us that the ground of yoga becomes firm only through practice that is continued for a long time, with dedication and without interruption. In other words, consistency matters more than intensity.

So instead of chasing perfection, choose goals that feel realistic and kind. A ten minutes of mindful movement, a short morning breathing ritual, or showing up on the mat twice a week. And instead of aiming for an hour of meditation, start with 10 minutes a day. Each small steady effort honors the spirit of Sutra 1.14: Sa tu dirgah kala nairantarya satkara asevitah drdha bhumih.

With patience and devotion that steady rhythm becomes transformation. Yoga grows quietly through time not through extremes. One breath, one pose, one day at a time, that is how practice becomes part of who you are.
With Love and Gratitude
